A revolutionary company set to develop a new generation of greener vehicle batteries has chosen South Yorkshire as the location for a new Research & Development and manufacturing facility.

The Ultimate Battery Company (UBC), based in Hyde, Manchester, selected South Yorkshire for the location of its new facility, after receiving support through South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and recognising South Yorkshire’s potential as the green heart of the UK.
